How much is Friendship worth?
2 Days ago, i attended a very good friend wedding.
In fact, Knew each other for 8 years.
Been through many obstacles, up and downs together.
Bad times, good times.
I've been sticking side by side with her and giving her support in every obstacles.
In times in need, I try my best to help her to get through everything. (I believe)
But all came to a disappointment.
It was her wedding on the 16th, 2 days before.
I was there as her sister.
Went Malaysia with Baby and then, rushed to her place to meet her on the 15th.
Went to the 24hrs supermarket with her to get her food stuffs to prepare for the morning session the next day.
Paid for all the stuffs.
Did not sleep a wink. chat with her, prepare the arrangement for the morning sessions.
Brainstorm ideas and fulfilling her wishes for the day.
She said she was nervous and cold. I gave her my hand in hope to give her some courage and some warm.
Then, The Groom gave.
I went on with the plans that i planned.
and meeting her most wanted thing she wanted him to do.
Eventually he did it.
So help her with the dress.
Went down to the next location to accompany her to pray to the groom's ancestors.
then headed to her grooms' Grandparents place and then back to her place.
When we were all worn out,
And i sat on her floor feeling very restless after all the long run.
In the middle of some talks with the groom and his brothers,
she said to me '你不要我不用紧，我现在有我的老公了吗!'.
At the very moment, i was so stunned at what she said.
I thought i had heard wrongly. But i did not speak a word back.
I believed she said those words in a moment of reckless as i believe she was tired also.
She said she had ordered the flowers from the shop near my house for the chest brooch.
So she wanted me to collect them on her behalf so i agreed to it.
Have I been a Good Friend?
So i rushed back to my place to collect her flowers in the rain and back home to shower and jennifer came to my house to pick one of my dresses for the night.
Den she called.
in a very harsh tone, she asked me whether i had collected the flowers. And to reach there by 6pm.
So i told her i will rush there.
Cabbed down there, And the fking Cab driver did not know the place. And We were running late.
Called her up, this was the conversation:
她：做么！
我：那个地方在哪里？
她：我跟你讲了吗！
我：我不懂。Cab Uncle don't know.
她：那时我msg你地址了吗！
then she told me near yew tee.
I tolerated everything. At the moment i felt like u-turning back home.
What was with her?
i just wanted to make sure i get there on time and not like searching around for the ave 1.
then reached the place.
She was not there yet. And soon she came.
she shouted at me : Wheres the flower!' (in chinese)
so i told her it was on the table.
Darling jenn went over to talk to her and she said rudely '我现在没有时间和你讲话！'
So we went a side.
Have not i been a good friend enough to do all these for her?
Was really very very disappointed.
After all these things, i didn't expect anything, at least a thank you.
But no... all i received was all these attitudes.
Even when we were leaving, said goodbye to her, she she just said bye very coldly.
What was that supposed to be?
Or to say in a unpleasant way, my 'red packet' too small ar?
At least got 3 digits ok!
I felt like crying totally.
And to think she offered me to be her child's godmother when she/he was born.
But i guess, her hubby and her is enough.
She can cope alone. Needs nobody.
or at least, i guessed.
